Welcome! We are one of the six Local Medicines for Children Research Networks and cover the Cheshire, Merseyside and North Wales area.

The five other networks across the country also concentrate on medicines for children, and these are all overseen by a co-ordinating centre based at the University of Liverpool's institute of Child Health at the Alder Hey Children's Hospital and is directed by Professor Rosalind Smyth.

We aim to establish a first rate local network to facilitate the conduct of high quality research to ensure safe, effective and acceptable medicines for children.
